The Best Play Dough

1. 1 cup flour
2. 1 cup water
3. food coloring
4. 1/2 cup salt
5. 1 tablespoon oil
6. 2 teaspoons cream of tarter

What you do:

1. Mix all ingredients in a saucepan. Heat until the mixture just starts to cook while stirring constantly.
2. When done, it will form a ball and look like sticky play dough.
3. Dump the dough onto a floured board or counter top and let it sit until cool enough to handle. Knead it by pushing down and away from you and folding over until you have smooth dough.
4. Store your dough in a resealable plastic bag.

This is an all time favorite craft of ours. Kids just love it!
Milk Paint

1. 1 tablespoon nonfat powdered milk
2. 1/2 cup water
3. 1 teaspoon powdered tempera paint

1. Place powdered milk and water in plastic container. Mix until all buibbles are gone.
2. Stir in tempera paint.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to make as many colors as you want!

Friendship Sheet

This is a great way to remember your bithday with a Friendship sheet! Get a plain white sheet and a bunch of felt tip markers and lay the sheet on the floor. Have everybody sign their name and a personal message. A great way to remeber any speacial occasion.

Pot People

You will need:
a little flower pot, cloth, cotton, fake hair,super glue, needle and thread and oil paint.


First you take the cloth put two together then cut out two identical circles, sew them together leaving a hole at the bottem. paint a face on the cloth then let it dry. stuff the cloth with cotton and sew it up good and tight. Then cut out two arms and two legs sew & stuff. glue the fake hair on top of the head. (you can add a bow for color) turn the pot upside down so that the opening is on the bottem then paint on a dress so that the wider part is the bottem of the dress. Then super glue the head on the smaller side of the pot the arms go on the sides and the legs are glued inside of the pot on the edge. after your done and your pot person has dried he can sit down on a shelf or in your garden.
